Coastguard roundup: Coastguards called to cliff fall near Monmouth beach
PORTLAND coastguard was called about a cliff fall by a member of the public just before 1.30pm on Tuesday.
Lyme Regis coastguard rescue officers investigated the scene and located the fall west of Monmouth Beach.
They gave safety advice to people nearby and Dorset County Council was informed.
