JOBS are at risk in Dorset after Phones 4U announced it was going into administration.
Stores in St Mary Street, Weymouth and South Street, Dorchester are expected to be closed today as administrators decide whether the business can be reopened for trading.
The company employs more than 5,500 staff across the UK but it is not known how many jobs could be affected in Dorset.
Staff have been asked to report to work as normal this morning.
The company has reassured customers that all mobile contracts bought through Phones 4u will be unaffected and networks will continue to provide mobile services.
