DORSET Fire and Rescue Service HQ in Poundbury will see the Dorset launch of a new worldwide road safety initiative, The Honest Truth, on Tuesday.
Dorset RoadSafe, local councilors and driving instructors have been invited to DFRS Service HQ to experience this brand new initiative which started in Devon.
The Honest Truth is aimed at young drivers and is designed to reduce the number of these types of drivers who are killed and seriously injured on our roads.
The interactive programme brings together the public and private sector.
Kate Underhill, Road Safety Manager at Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: “The lifesaving messages this award winning programme allows us to deliver are not new, but working with driving instructors we can deliver them in a brand new way.”
