MAYOR of Dorchester Peter Mann joined members of the Dorchester Strollers for their annual general meeting.
The meeting was held after the Strollers’ regular Tuesday afternoon walk.
Cllr Mann was joined by his wife Sheila as they joined in one of the walks, while Tracy Street from Macmillan Cancer Support and Pauline Trimming from the Dorchester Area Partnership were also welcomed to the event at the Corn Exchange.
After a cup of tea and a slice of cake, the meeting began with a presentation of highlights from the previous year.
These included re-accreditation for the group and the certificate was presented by Ms Street.
At the end of business the group enjoyed a film of Julia Bradbury’s Railway Walk along the Rodwell Trail, with the Strollers due to take on the walk themselves later that week.
