THERE will be no excuses from drivers when Dorset Police go on patrol today to tackle bad driving in Dorchester.
The No Excuse team will be out and about in the county town today in response to complaints. The aim of the team is to use a combination of enforcement and education to tackle the ‘fatal five.’ These are – drink and drug driving; excessive and inappropriate speed; not wearing a seatbelt; driver distractions such as hand-held mobile phones; and careless driving.
The team will also be in Sherborne.
