A WEYMOUTH man convicted of terrorism offences has had an appeal quashed.
Richard Dart was one of three men handed a special extended sentence for preparing terror offences. The trio argued that this was unfair, but the Court of Appeal has today ruled the sentences were justified.
Dart had admitted preparing for acts of terrorism and was sentenced to six years imprisonment last year.
Dart had travelled to Pakistan to get terrorism training and discussed plans for an attack with others in the UK.
