A WEYMOUTH man who was critically injured in a car crash on the A352 at Broadmayne continues to fight for his life.

The 59-year-old was cut from his grey Ford Focus following the collision on Wednesday and airlifted to Southampton Hospital. His condition yesterday was described as ‘critical but stable’.

Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the crash or to the manner of driving of the grey Ford Focus prior to the collision. The man was driving between Dorchester and Broadmayne when the collision happened on the approach to Broadmayne village just before noon.
