WALK in a wildlife wonderland this festive season.

Dorset Wildlife Trust will be putting on a sleigh-load of events across the Christmas season to bring joy to young and old.

People will have the chance to meet green Father Christmas at the Fine Foundation Chesil Beach Centre’s Christmas Bazaar on Sunday, November 30, from 11am. There will be gifts, art, crafts and toy on sale.

Chesil Centre officer Marc Smith said: “All profits go back into Dorset Wildlife Trust’s conservation work.

“We also have a ‘green’ Father Christmas coming to the Bazaar from 11am-1pm, so children will have a chance to meet him and take part in some Christmas challenges to win a gift.”

Then on Saturday, December 6, the Kingcombe Centre, near Dorchester, is holding its annual Christmas Fair, from 10am – 4pm.

On the same day Lorton Meadows in Weymouth will host a Christmas crafts day from 10.30am – 12.30pm.

Children and adults can get crafty and create cards, gifts and treats and edible bird treats.

Booking is essential and anyone interested should call 01305 816546. The centre will be open from 10am – 4pm and people can take a walk around and enjoy walking in a winter wonderland.
