Elderly urged to maintain properties ahead of winter
ELDERLY residents are being warned not to be caught out by home maintenance this winter. The call from Age UK Dorchester comes during National Maintenance Week.
Di Lawrence, of Age UK Dorchester, said: “We all know if you want to help prevent your money going down the drain, maintaining your property is crucial.” She added that people should check home insurance policy terms and conditions to see if they are covered for common incidents.
