HUNDREDS of people attended Dorchester's Brewery Square last night for the Christmas lights illumination.
Members of the public were able to witness a fire dance and enjoy a hog roast as part of the festivities.
People were also quick to grab their skates as the synthetic ice rink opened its gates for the first time this year.
More than 5,000 people used the rink last year, which proved to be hugely popular.
