A THIRD person has been arrested following an armed police raid in Weymouth. 

Armed response officers executed arrest warrants at two addresses in Culliford Way on Monday morning. 

A 48-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a firearm with intent to endanger life, production of a controlled drug and criminal damage. 

Meanwhile, a 27-year-old woman was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply controlled drugs. 

It has now come to light that a 26-year-old man was also arrested. 

He was arrested on suspicion of the production of controlled drugs, possession with intent to supply controlled drugs, theft, possession of ammunition for a firearm without a certificate and acquiring/use/possess criminal property.

All three are from Weymouth and have been released on bail until the beginning of February 2015 pending further enquiries.

Firearms ammunition and air rifles were seized as well as quantities of controlled drugs including cannabis and white powder and cash.
