STAFF at the Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park are ‘delighted’ to be supporting the Christmas toy appeal.

Visitors to the Sea Life Adventure Park and Tower will be able to donate a toy to this year’s Dorset Echo Christmas Toy Appeal.

The park has joined many other shops and businesses in the area who have kindly taken a toy bin to accept donations for local children this Christmas.

Last year thousands of brand new toys were donated to underprivileged children across Dorset to unwrap on Christmas Day and almost £4,500 was raised by the appeal.

We hope that this year even more will be donated to help local needy youngsters.

This is the second year that the park has been involved with the appeal.

General manager Tamsin Mutton-McKnight said: “Weymouth Sea Life Adventure Park and Tower is delighted to once again be supporting the fantastic Dorset Echo Christmas Toy Appeal.

“It is a wonderful opportunity for our team and our guests to provide magical Christmas moments to disadvantaged children across Dorset.”

We are also looking for 30 businesses to donate £100 each for our appeal.

This has been amazingly successful in previous years and has been the main way that the toy appeal has been able to provide so many toys and gifts to needy children.

Each donation is gratefully received and all those donating £100 will be featured in the Echo.
