A CHILD’S bicycle has been stolen in Weymouth.

Police are appealing for information after a white Halfords LuLu child’s bike, suitable for a four-year-old, was taken from a communal hallway at flats in Douglas Road, Wyke Regis.

It happened between 5pm on Saturday, November 22 and 9am the following day.

The bike had a black and white detachable bag on the handlebars, a baby’s seat on the rear and a distinctive Panda transfer on the bicycle and bag.

Acting Sergeant Adam Pilton, of Weymouth police, said: “I am appealing for witnesses and anyone with information about this incident to contact Dorset Police.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who has seen or has been offered for sale a child’s bicycle matching this description.

“Calls will be dealt with in strict confidence.”
