THIEVES forced their way in to a Weymouth hair salon and stole cash as well as hair tools.
Police are appealing to witnesses following the raid, which happened sometime between 10.30pm on Friday, December 5 and 2.42am on Saturday, December 6 at Hair Moda in Marsh Road.
A till draw containing a quantity of cash and 10 GHD straightener styling products were stolen.
PC Simon Anderson, of Weymouth police, said: “I am appealing for any witnesses to this incident to contact me in confidence.
“I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who may have seen individuals acting suspiciously in the Marsh Road area during the relevant time “Anyone who has been offered GHD straighteners for sale via social media or locally for unusually low prices or in suspicious circumstances should also call police.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police on 101, quoting incident number 6:58. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111.
