MORE THAN 50 family and friends celebrated Peter Price’s 90th birthday.
Mr Price, from Weymouth, was treated to a surprise party at the Rembrandt Hotel, and guests joined him from Dartmouth, Wales, London and the US.
Several jazz musicians took to the stage, most of whom Mr Price has sung with for over 50 years.
Mr Price entertained guests with a medley of Frank Sinatra and he also entertained his great grandchildren with his famous magic show.
Even Mr Price’s son Dave Price and daughter Angie Bennett sang a few of his favourite songs to mark the happy occasion.
To complete the day of surprises, his grandchildren presented him with a key to a room at the hotel, where he stayed overnight and enjoyed breakfast with family members.
His son and daughter wished him happy birthday and said: “Dad is an amazing man and we are so proud of him.”
