WEYMOUTH Relief Road was partially blocked this afternoon after vehicle problems caused a car to hit a sign.
The incident was reported to Dorset Police at around 4.30pm.
A spokeswoman for Dorset Police confirmed a car had suffered 'vehicle problems' causing it to swerve across the road and hit a sign.
The incident is believed to have occurred just after the Swallows Rest bed and breakfast on the Ridgeway.
The vehicle is a blue Mazda2, registered to a woman from Portland.
An ambulance attended the scene after coming across the incident. No one is thought to have been injured.
There were delays whilst the vehicle was being recovered.
