Firefighters called to house fire near Bridport
FIREFIGHTERS were called to a house fire near Bridport after a concerned neighbour spotted smoke.
The incident happened today at around 2.30pm in the village of Litton Cheney.
Two appliances from Bridport attended. On arrival crews found smoke still issuing but the fire had already been put out by the neighbour.
Crews made sure the scene was safe and ventilated the property.
The fire caused damaged to a desk in the front room and there was light smoke damage to the rest of the property.
