POLICE in Dorchester are appealing for information after two commercial burglaries over the weekend.
Premises at Lower Burton were targeted when offenders entered through the roof and took a number of chainsaws and brush cutters.
The second offence involved a building site at Poundbury, with the offenders entering the site at some stage over the weekend and taking at least one oven from a flat that was in the process of being fitted out.
Inspector Steve Marsh, of Dorchester Police, said that it was possible that more than one oven was taken from the site.
He added that on both occasions the thieves would have needed a vehicle to take the items away and urged anyone who had witnessed anything to contact Dorchester Police Station on 101.
