THE Bridport Rotary Club’s Youth Speaks event took place once again at Burton Bradstock village hall.
Nine teams took part in the event.
Four teams from Beaminster School took on a team from the Sir John Colfox School in the intermediate round. Despite having to go first and being the youngest speakers in the room, Beaminster’s Year Seven took first place. Both teams will go on to compete in the district semi-final at Beaminster on February 4.
