*SINGER songwriter Eleanor McEvoy is bringing her heartfelt tunes to Dorchester Arts Centre tomorrow (21) from 8pm.

The Irish chanteuse is best known for her hit single Only A Woman's Heart, title track of the best-selling album in Irish history.

Children's story telling and activity with Pauline Hazelwood takes place tomorrow (21) at the Waiting Room from 10.30am to 3.30pm.

Pauline writes and illustrates true stories about real engines. She loves encouraging others to find out and enjoy more about history and engineering, mechanics, bits of geography and more through her entertaining books that are all based on facts. Entry is free.

*THE inner world of mini-beasts will be revealed with a talk at Durlston Country Park from 2pm on Sunday.

Join entomologist Chris Spilling for a talk to discover the amazing variety of insect life in Purbeck and the struggle for survival going on all round us, featuring amazing macro photography.

Meet at the Learning Centre from 2pm. The talk costs £3.

*SEE series two of Broadchurch draw to a close in style at the Electric Palace in Bridport from 7pm on Monday. (23) Broadchurch soundtrack composer Olafur Arnalds will be performing a selection of his classical compositions followed by a screening of the series finale of the ITV drama.

*MARVEL at the display of snowdrops at Forde Abbey and Gardens in Chard any day between 10am and 4pm.

See beautiful drifts of snowdrops across the gardens and lining the drive as they welcome spring to the abbey.

The shop and tearoom will be open every Saturday and Sunday throughout February. There is a special reduced winter admission rate of £5 per adult.

*BRING along your brave bear to a Teddy Zip Wire at Corfe Castle daily until Sunday.

The fearsome zip wire challenge is between 10.30am and 3pm.
