'STAY VIGILANT': Police appeal after Purbeck resident heard someone trying to get in front door.
POLICE are urging Purbeck residents to be vigilant after a resident reported hearing someone trying to get into their front door.
Swanage Safer Neighbourhood Team said they have received several reports of suspicious activity in the early hours of the morning.
A resident on East Street, Corfe, has reported hearing someone trying the front door to their home address. The most recent incident happened in the early hours of Thursday February 26. The offenders did not get in.
Officers said that nobody has been seen so they have no description, but they would like to remind everyone to remain vigilant, review their home security, and call 999 at the time should they hear or see anything suspicious.
