Firefighters help free stuck horse near Corfe Castle
FIREFIGHTERS have rescued a horse stuck in water near Corfe Castle.
The incident happened last night at around 11.30pm.
After Dorset Fire and Rescue Service was alerted to reports of the horse, an appliance and Land Rover from Swanage were mobilised.
Animal rescue teams from Poole were also sent to the scene.
Crews used specialist equipment and the help of a National Trust tractor to lift the horse to safety.
