FIREFIGHTERS were called to attend to an ambulance near Dorchester after reports of its engine overheating.
The incident happened at around 2pm on the A35 at Yellowham Hill near the Puddletown bypass.
Appliances from Dorchester Fire Station and Bere Regis Fire Station attended the scene.
A spokesman for Dorset Police confirmed the fire service were called as a precaution.
