WITH the days getting longer and the weather set to be dry this weekend, it’s time to get out and about with some top shows and entertainment this weekend.

THIS Sunday sees the Best of Dorset Show at Weymouth Pavilion. The free event will run from 11am-4pm.

Now in its 15th year, the show will give information on attractions and events that can be enjoyed throughout Dorset in 2015.

There will be live events on the stage including performances by WOW, Ed Hintz, Let’s Dance, Dorset for Singing and an Asda George fashion show.

Cartoon De Salvo bring their new show the Powercut Compendium to Buckland Newton Village Hall tonight (Friday) at 7.30pm.

Sherborne Castle is hosting a bulbs and daffodils weekend tomorrow and Sunday with reduced price entry to the gardens and grounds, from 11am - 4.30pm each day.

EXPERIENCE a step back in time as two worlds collide in two interconnected plays by Forest Forge Theatre.

The company will be performing at Dorchester Arts Centre tonight from 8pm.

The company said the plays use the abandoned railway lines and derelict platforms of Hampshire for the backdrop of a story exploring ‘our relationship to the past and future and the constantly changing nature of our hopes and dreams.’
