Officers investigating a road rage incident in Weymouth are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward.

The incident happened at around 1.50pm on Tuesday March 24, when an altercation took place in King Street.

The victim was stopped in her small purple car at a set of traffic lights as she headed out of Weymouth when a man got out of a blue Ford Focus and approached her vehicle.

When the victim stepped out of her car, the offender verbally abused and threatened her.

Police Constable Gideon Pritchard of Weymouth police said: “This was an upsetting incident for the victim.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have seen or heard the incident to please call Dorset Police.

“All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”
