FUNNY girl Debra Stephenson is back.

She's bringing her Impressions Show to Lighthouse, Poole, on Saturday May 30 from 7.30pm.

Featuring some of the most popular songs ever recorded, for one night only Debra Stephenson presents an evening of musical and comedy impressions.

Backed by the James Stead Orchestra, the star of The Impressions Show with Culshaw and Stephenson and Radio 4’s Dead Ringers, not to mention Coronation Street and Bad Girls, delves into her record collection to showcase some of the best-known female singers of the 20th century and into the modern age.

Fans will also recognise many of Debra’s favourite comedy impressions.

Debra said: “I’m really excited to be doing this, especially as it’s in my home theatre. “It’s a proper, old-fashioned night of light entertainment with something for everyone.

“The first half of the show starts with the jazz age – Billie Holiday, Dinah Washington and Ella Fitzgerald, then we move through the sixties with Cilla Black, Lulu, Sandie Shaw, into the seventies and eighties and up to the noughties with Christina Aguilera and a bit of Britney and beyond with Amy Winehouse and Skyfall from Adele.

"The second half of the show is songs from the movies so as well as Adele I do Marilyn Monroe, Shirley Bassey, Judy Garland.

“While it’s not a stand-up show as such, there’s still plenty of room for voices like Cheryl Cole and Davina MacCall, as well as some of my own personal favourites including Sarah Millican and Miranda… plus lots of fab frocks, glitz and glamour. I can’t wait!” Contact the venue for tickets.
