Road blocked in Dorchester after car and motorbike crash
A ROAD in Dorchester was closed after a crash between a motorcycle and a car.
The incident happened shortly after 5pm this evening on the Herringston Road in Dorchester, near to Winterbourne Hospital.
A motorycycle, a white Longjai bike registered to a man from Weymouth, and a blue Renault Clio, registered to a woman from Sherborne, collided with each other on the road.
It is unclear how if there are any injuries.
The road was closed in both directions at the Mellstock Avenue junction by Dorset Police to allow for the vehicles to be recovered.
The road was reopened shortly after 6pm.
