A PAIR of visitors have been making a splash in Weymouth.
Crowds gathered this morning after two young dolphins appeared in the waters around Weymouth harbour.
The dolphins, thought to be bottlenose, followed a boat and ducked and dived through the water, much to the delight of those gathered along the harbour.
One eyewitness said: "Seeing the dolphins has made my day.
"I have lived in Weymouth for years and I've never seen them.
"Usually they can be spotted quite a way off shore but to see them this close was very special.
"I think they must have been juveniles as they were quite small.
"There was an inflatable rib craft with a family aboard and they were following it round the harbour.
"It makes you realise how lucky you are to live so close to the sea when you see things like this."
