PIANIST Duncan Honeybourne will be giving two concerts in one day on Wednesday.

At 1pm at St Marys Church, Weymouth, Duncan will be giving the annual Eric Honeybourne Memorial Recital in memory of his father.

Donations from the concert will be in aid of the Melcombe Day Hospital which supports dementia patients in the area.

The concert is part of the Weymouth Lunchtime Chamber Concerts series and Duncan will be playing music by Scarlatti, Schumann and Brahms.

Later in the day at All Saints Church, Wyke Regis, Duncan will be giving a concert with Rupert Marshall Luck (violin) from 7.30pm.

He will be playing the organ as part of the English Music Festival UK and European Concerts Series.

Tickets cost £10 and the concert will be made up of English music, including a sonata for violin and organ by Richard Pantcheff.

Duncan will be playing some organ solos and Rupert will play some solo violin music.
