Travellers asked to move on after arriving at Weymouth Park and Ride
TRAVELLERS were asked to move on after turning up at a park and ride site.
Dorset County Council’s Traveller Liaison and Dorset Police were informed that the group had turned up at the Mount Pleasent site in Weymouth earlier this morning.
Dorset County Council said that in total there were nine caravans at the site.
The liaison team and Dorset Police served notice to the group that they needed to move on to the transit site at Piddlehinton or out of the county by 4pm.
