POLICE are attending an incident in Weymouth. It is understood that an elderly pedestrian has collapsed.
Paramedics are in attendance.
The ambulance service said they were called at 11.34am to Westham Road to help a female casualty.
A spokesman said: “She is conscious and breathing. She collapsed at the scene. It looks like she hit her head and has a head injury and breathing troubles from the fall.
“We are still on the scene currently.”
Dorset Police closed the road and directied traffic.
The road was reopened by 12.30pm.
