Fire crew called to deliberate fire in Bovington Camp
DORSET Fire and Rescue Service received a call last night of a camper van fire on Cologne Road in Bovington Camp.
Multiple calls were received at around 1.20am, reporting a fire on the road. Two vehicles, one from Bere Regis and one from Wareham attended the scene.
Police were also at the scene and the fire is thought to have been started deliberately.
The camper van which was on fire was completely destroyed and there was charring to the electricity lines.
The fire was brought under control using two hose jet reels at approximately 2.00am.
