TRAIN services to and from Dorset are set to be severely disrupted if the National Rail strike goes ahead on Monday and Tuesday.
There will be significant disruption if the strike called by the RMT and TSSA trade unions goes ahead.
South West Trains is advising that on Monday, passengers should not travel unless absolutely necessary as there will be a severely reduced service from the early afternoon, with all trains stopped by late afternoon.
On Tuesday, if the strike goes ahead, there will be no South West Trains services.
South West Trains is advising that the situation may change and be updated and that customers should also check before travelling on Wednesday.
If the planned action does go ahead, First Great Western Services between Bristol Temple Meads and Weymouth will also be cancelled but full details are not yet available.
Full details of revised train services will be available at nationalrail.co.uk/industrialaction by Saturday.
Special ticketing measures have been put in place for if the action goes ahead with customers able to claim a full refund or use the tickets on either Sunday or Wednesday.
