Firefighters were called to a line side fire near Swanage Railway.

Dorset Fire and Rescue Service was called to the incident shortly after 12.20pm today when a fire engulfed a piece of grass near to a section of track belonging to the railway.

A crew from Poole on standby at Wareham attended the fire and extinguished it with beaters and one hose reel jet.

The fire was brought under control at 12.46pm and the cause was believed to be accidental.
