*TURN back the clock two centuries for the biennial Milton Abbas Street Fair tomorrow.

Backed by the Dorset Echo, this event, held in the picturesque Dorset village's wide main street, runs from 11am to 5pm.

The 18th century street fair features traditional music and dancing, local craftspeople, stalls and demonstrations and a Dorset food market. A £5 contribution is requested for adults at the entry and it costs £3 for children. See miltonabbas.org.uk for more information.

*TAKE a ride on a trailer this weekend from 2pm to 5pm Saturday and Sunday along the coast from Chaldon Herring

Departing from the village green, the specially equipped trailer which is suitable for all ages, will head out to the Jurassic Coast and give a great view of Durdle Door to the east and Portland to the west as it heads back along farm tracks to West Chaldon and to a fine cream tea in a lovely garden.

On Sunday, there will be donkey rides for children around a village field.

Trailer rides cost £5 for adults, £3 for U18s and U8s go free.
