NEXT week is the last chance for residents to talk to planners about the possible relocation of the Dorchester Household Recycling Centre.

Planners are considering whether to extend the current centre at St George’s Road or relocate it.

Options for relocating could see the facility move to Poundbury, land to the west of Monkey’s Jump, land to the south of the stadium roundabout or Stinsford Hill.

Site options for a waste transfer facility and waste vehicle depot around Dorchester are also being looked at.

Alongside this, residents are being asked what they think of sites to be allocated for quarrying with a number of proposed sites in the Moreton area.

The final two sessions for people to talk to planners are at Dorchester Library on Tuesday, September 1 from 3pm until 6.30pm and at Moreton Village Hall on Thursday, September 3 from 3pm until 7pm.

Associated documents are available for viewing online or at county hall or any of the district and borough council offices.

People can comment on the plans until Wednesday, September 23 on the website, by email or in writing.
