A Dorset pensioner has been interviewed under caution on suspicion of a historic case of sexual assault on a child.
The 85-year-old was spoken to by Sussex Police in connection with the allegations dating back to the early 1970s.
Police want to speak to a woman called Katy Tyler, who was a pupil at St Andrews primary school in Furnace Green at the time of the alleged offences.
There is no suggestion that she was involved in any crime. Police have also emphasised that the investigation has no connection with current or recent pupils at the school, and there are no safeguarding issues.
Anyone with information is asked to call Sussex Police on 101, quoting incident 1085 of October 6.
