Fault in the system sounds alarms
Firefighters were called to attend alarms sounding on Dorchester Road in Weymouth last night.
Crews were called just after 6.30pm.
A spokesman for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 6.35pm. Weymouth crews attended alarms sounding on Dorchester Road which were caused by a fault in the system."
