ONE man was rushed to hospital after a two-car crash near Dorchester.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on the A37 at Frome St Quinton, near the clay pigeon shooting building at 7.42pm yesterday evening.
A silver Vauxhall Astra registered to a woman from Manchester, and a red Ford Focus registered to a man from Dorchester, collided with each other.
One man was taken to Dorset County Hospital for an x-ray after complaining of chest injuries. It is understood that his injuries are not serious.
The road was blocked for around two hours following the incident, as the vehicles were waiting to be recovered.
Firefighters from Dorset Fire and Rescue Service also attended the incident to ensure the scene was safe, and to clear a small quantity of brake fluid that spilled onto the road following the collision.
