ABSEILING down a tower would be enough of a challenge for most people but for the team at Battens Solicitors they will also face dodging smoke and water jets.

The stunt is all in the name of charity with money raised being donated to Action for Children.

The team at Battens were the first to sign up to Dorchester's extreme abseil, The Tower. The challenge takes place on October 17 and there's still time for brave teams and individuals to sign up.

Sara Shearman, from Action for Children, said: "The day will be a lot of fun, anyone who wants to come and try our challenge is welcome. No previous experience is necessary as full training will be given on the day. The challenge is to beat the Tower and get through the smoke and water to the ground."

Cate Barnes, associate at Battens, added: "We are very excited to be taking part in the Action for Children abseil. Not only is this an opportunity to help raise money for a great children’s charity but also a chance for us to have some fun and challenge ourselves."
