Road blocked in North Dorset after accident
THE B3092 was closed in both directions between Hinton St Mary and Marnhull on tonight.
The road was closed north of Sturminster Newton due to an accident involving two vehicles shortly after 6pm.
A police spokesperson said the accident took place around half a mile north of Hinton St Mary with a road closure in place at Walton Elm.
Fire crews attended the scene after reports of a person trapped in one of the vehicles but on arrival everyone was out of the vehicles and after making the scene safe and administering first aid they left the scene.
Dorset Police said that there were no serious injuries but ambulance crews did attend.
The road had re-opened shortly before 8pm.
