POLICE in Sherborne are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a burglary in the town.
Between 10.15pm on Tuesday, November 17 and 7am on Wednesday, November 18, offenders gained access to an outbuilding off Dark Lane in the Sandford Orcas area.
An orange and white KTM 250 EXC-F 14 off-road motorcycle, orange and yellow motorcycle kit and a quantity of cash was stolen.
Police Constable Emily Foster, of Sherborne police, said: “I am appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between the relevant times to please call me.
“I would also be interested in talking to anyone who may have seen any of the items stolen during this burglary for sale locally.
“All calls will be treated in strict confidence.”
Witnesses and anyone with information should call Dorset Police in confidence on 101 quoting incident number 18:41. Alternatively, call the free and anonymous Crimestoppers line on 0800 555 111 where mobile phone tariffs may apply.
