A WOMAN was cut out of her car and taken to hospital following an early-morning crash.

Emergency services rushed to the incident on the A30 near Sherborne shortly after 3.20am this morning.

Firefighters attended the incident to cut the woman out of the vehicle, which was a silver Skoda.

She was taken to hospital by paramedics, but a spokesman for Dorset Police said the injuries were not believe to be serious.

No other vehicles were involved in the incident.
