FIREFIGHTERS were alerted to an alarm sounding at a property in Shaftesbury.
Crews were called just before 6.30pm yesterday.
A spokesman for Dorset Fire and Rescue Service said: "We were called at 6.24pm. One appliance from Shaftesbury attended a domestic alaerm which was caused by unattended cooking fumes."
