Traffic delays expected due to gas leak on West Bay Road
TRAFFIC delays are expected on West Bay Road between the A35 and West Bay due to a gas leak.
SGN Gas are setting up a temporary two-way light system because of the leak.
A spokeswoman for SGN, said: "Our engineers are carrying out emergency repairs to our gas main in West Bay Road, Bridport, between the junction for Wanderwell and the roundabout for the A35.
"Temporary two-way traffic lights were put in place this morning to safely control the flow of traffic past our works.
"We are working hard to complete this essential work as quickly as possible and all being well, hope to finish the repair by the weekend.
"We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and thank road users for their patience."
