A ROAD between Tarrant Keyneston and Blandford Forum has been reopened after a serious crash this morning.
Police were called to the incident involving a car and a van on Wimborne Road, the B3082, at 9.10am.
Fire services were forced to take roof off one of the vehicles in order to free a driver trapped inside.
Police say a man, believed to have been in the car, is currently being treated for minor injuries but nobody else was harmed.
The road was closed between the A354 and Tarrant Keyneston, near the Ashley Wood golf club where the accident took place.
The two vehicles involvled were a silver VW Golf registered in Wimborne and a white Ford Transit van registered to a company in Derbyshire.
Recovery teams arrived for both vehicles at 10.04am and Dorset County Council workers were called to see to reports of diesel on the road.
Police say that the Wimborne Road was reopened at 11.30am.
