Two vehicle accident causes blockage
AN ACCIDENT involving two vehicles partially blocked a Dorset road.
Police were called at 5pm to a road traffic collision on Higher Shaftesbury Road in Iwerne Minster, north of Blandford Forum, at the Boyne's Lane junction.
The vehicles involved were a white Mercedes Sprinter panel van and a grey BMW, both registered to local keepers.
An ambulance was called, but a spokesman for Dorset Police said that this was "precautionary" and that there were no reported injuries.
One vehicle was recovered from the road.
Police left the scene at 7.13pm.
