THE A35 was partly blocked after a crash between a car, a van and a lorry.
The incident happened between Tilly Whim Lane and Bats Lane and Monkey’s Jump Roundabout, near Dorchester.
Dorset Police, firefighters and ambulance were all on scene.
A spokesman for the police said they had been called at 6.42am by a passer-by. There are three vehicles involved: a Peugeot 106 in silver, registered to a man from Penzance in Cornwall, a DAF truck registered to a Bristol company and a Scania arctic lorry.
The police spokesman added: "Fire crews were on scene and they made the Peugot safe.
"The local authority had to be informed has there was fluid on the road.
"Recovery of the vehicles was on scene by 7.45am.
"We believe there were only minor injuries sustained in the crash."
Dorset Fire and Rescue service tweeted that they atteneded the crash and made the vehicles safe after the incident.
A spokesman for the ambulance service said: "We were called to Monkey's Jump on the A35 at 6.42am. We helped two casualties, a 20-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman. Both of them had minor injuries and both were taken to Dorset County Hospital."
