THERE is sure to be lots of happy campers at one Weymouth site as it was awarded TripAdvisor's Certificate of Excellence for the second year in a row.

Higher Moor Farm Campsite, in Nottington, has been awarded the prestigious prize for 2016, following on from success in 2015.

The award was founded in 2010 and honours hospitality businesses that deliver consistently great service, it is given to establishments that have consistently achieved great traveller reviews on the website over the past year.

The farm describes itself as a small, family orientated campsite.

Manager, Daniel Smy was delighted that customers have once again been leaving positive feedback on the site.

He said: "We're absolutely delighted that for the second year in a row feedback from our customers has been fantastic. The team at the farm have worked extremely hard to offer super customer service and it's always good to hear the positive feedback we've got from the website.

"The TripAdvisor website is an excellent way of making sure that our customers are having a good time and all feedback is positive that the campsite is offering them a positive holiday experience."

Mr Smy explained what he thinks sets the campsite apart from the rest.

He said: "We're a small enough site to be able to offer a friendly one on on service to our customers but big enough to offer five star facilities such as our brilliant new toilet block, farm shop and other facilities that probably set us apart."

As well as all the usual campsite facilities, Higher Moor often puts on live entertainment including music in the site's vintage marquee and brings in unique local food vendors, to make sure it is a special holiday experience for visitors The site has an impressive five star rating on TripAdvisor, with 274 of its 312 reviews excellent and 29 very good.

One "excellent" review on the site said: "Thank you for a wonderful holiday. Clean, expansive toilet and shower facilities. There are visits from local catering people on the weekends, the is a fantastic beer and ale tent. All in all very good. Very much a place to take your family."

Vice-president of industry marketing at TripAdvisor, Heather Leisman spoke about the importance of the awards.
