The bank holiday weekend looks set to be warm but wet as many people look forward to the three-day break.

The Met Office is predicting cloud throughout Saturday and Sunday for Weymouth with temperatures of up to 22 degrees. 

It is predicting light showers from around 7am until 5pm on Saturday and from around 10am until 7pm on Sunday

Monday is also looking to be cloudy with similar temperatures, but rain looks less likely. 

A weather warning has also been put in place for thundery showers for parts of the county, mainly the north, for Saturday and Sunday.

There are plenty of events to enjoy around the area at the weekend with three days of music and fun at Dorchester's Maumbury Rings. 

It kicks off on Saturday with the Anonymous Festival at the historic site, which is put on by young people for other youngsters and will feature a range of acts, a bungee run and more with music from the likes of Declan Millar and Fast Decline.

On Sunday, the Love Parade will return to the town with a South American themed procession heading through the town from noon before music and fun for all ages throughout the afternoon.

The weekend will be rounded off with the 12th instalment of the music day organised by the town council on Monday. 

In Sutton Poyntz, the Springhead pub will be hosting its annual dog, sausage and cider festival on Sunday
